Their latest update is rubbing some fans the wrong way.
It’s the end of an era for a legendary boy group and their devoted fans. After 26 years, the group announced their disbandment and final tour dates. Their latest disbandment update has some fans feeling excited, while others are expressing their disappointment.

Arashi‘s disbandment announcement was made in May, after a four-and-a-half-year hiatus. The group also announced that they would return one more time for a special concert tour next spring to thank fans for many years of love and support.

The tour will conclude on May 31 in Tokyo.

Although some fans are thrilled to start saving up for tickets and booking hotels, others are feeling let down. Due to the demand for tickets and fan club restrictions, some fans are worried they might not be able to see the final shows at all.
please have a livestream of the final concert open for all around the world and not just for FC members 😭🙏 please, we want to say goodbye to arashi too 😭

What I feel since last May…
And I guess this is me until next May. Unless they do something for non-FC member. https://t.co/IZ2vpZxoUU pic.twitter.com/VUcgtfLGcG

it’s funny how they acknowledge international fans by adding an english translation but still make it literally impossible for people living outside japan to get tickets and even if you do, they most likely won’t let you into the venue bc identity and fanclub member checks https://t.co/sYzJiBkcdY

arashi gatekeeping their *FINAL* tour ever for only the “real fans” in the fc is like the least arashi-like thing they could ever do lol like what about those who closed their membership bc they couldn’t keep paying for 4 years of no content ?? idk it doesn’t sit right with me

Seeing how the concert is for those who are in fc, and no option for those outside jp and fc just did it for me, i guess. I’m so thankful for Arashi, and maybe if i see clips of the live, i will feel sad, but for now, i’m fine. https://t.co/PkV2Yfonhe
