Actor Lee Yi Kyung’s Alleged “Sexual Requests” Victim Makes Final Statement
On the 24th, Dispatch reported that the court issued a search warrant related to person A’s account. The police plan to advance the investigation by obtaining IP and log data from the Naver and X (formerly Twitter) accounts used by person A.
On the 21st, Lee Yi Kyung spoke out for the first time regarding the controversy sparked by person A’s posts. Through his Instagram, he said, “A few days ago, I visited the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul and gave a statement as the complainant. I conveyed my position regarding the rumors and completed the process of filing a complaint for blackmail and defamation by spreading false information.” He added, “The reason I did not speak about my position until now was because my agency asked me to refrain from making any statements until after a lawyer had been appointed and a criminal complaint had been filed against the person spreading the rumors.”
In the same post, he expressed his frustration, saying, “Every single moment, I felt a surge of anger. Someone who claims to be a German, whose identity and existence I don’t even know, kept appearing and disappearing, just as they had months ago when they sent threatening emails to the company. Once again, the company calmed me down, saying there was no need to engage in a battle over truth regarding such false information,” conveying his sense of injustice.
