INFINITE‘s Woohyun held his solo concert Arbor Day 5 – Tree High School on the 22nd and 23rd at MacPherson Stadium in Hong Kong, meeting local fans.
Arbor Day 5 was Woohyun’s solo concert held about 10 months after last year’s Arbor Day 4 – Tree World. The Seoul performance in August, which kicked off the tour in a spectacular fashion, was completely sold out and sparked great attention. Following that, shows in Macau, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, and Manila received explosive responses from global fans.
Arbor Day 5 showcased Woohyun’s limitless charm as he transformed into a student-teacher and student council president at Tree High School, earning passionate responses from fans worldwide. The Hong Kong shows, as the finale of the tour, featured Woohyun appearing as a student-teacher on the first day and as a student on the second, delivering uniquely different performances each day.
On stage, Woohyun performed songs from his 5th mini album Tree Ring, released last July, including the title track “Only Forward,” as well as tracks like “In Three Minutes,” “After I Met You,” and “I’ll Hug You Quietly,” eliciting enthusiastic reactions from fans.
In addition, he performed many beloved hits cherished by global fans, such as “Sunshine,” “Shooting Star,” “Boyfriend,” “Crying Baby,” “Calm & Passion,” “My Paradise,” “Hold On Me,” “Baby Baby,” and “Lonely Night,” delivering an especially rich setlist that captured fans’ hearts.
Particularly, Woohyun as the student-teacher presented the setlist divided by subjects like morning assembly, art, music, and physical education, while as the student council president, he orchestrated the Tree High School festival starting with an opening ceremony followed by various club activities such as dance, exploration, literature, and photography. This perfectly executed school concept provided great fun and reaffirmed Woohyun’s reputation as a “trusted and admired performance master.”
Furthermore, during the concert, a VCR video showed Woohyun visiting the school store during lunch break, introducing perfect pairings of various drinks and snacks. Also included was the “Tree High School First Love Simulation” video resembling a first-person dating simulation game, bringing sweet excitement to fans.
From Seoul to Hong Kong, Woohyun filled the stage with a powerful live performance across eight shows in six cities with Arbor Day 5. His even stronger vocal skills and relaxed stage manners captivated fans, thoroughly proving his worth as one of South Korea’s representative “luxury vocalists.”
