Actress Lee Si Young has yet again triggered a controversy with her parenting— this time over a photo of her newborn.

Lee recently made a post on her personal Instagram, showing her daughter’s newborn photoshoot. With just a month left for Christmas, the actress went for a Christmas-themed concept for the shoot. She dressed up her 17-day-old as a cute Santa, placing her in a box with a tree ornament, surrounded by other gift boxes.

In the caption, Lee wrote, “How about me as a Christmas ornament this year? Merry Christmas in advance!” She also mentioned that she was initially hesitant to do a photoshoot with such a small child, but was happy with the outcome.
The post ended up triggering intense criticism from netizens who felt that Lee was referring to the baby as a prop or a decorative item was problematic. However, some also defended the actress, arguing that she was just calling her child cute. Amid this fierce debate, Lee Si Young deleted the post from her profile.
This marked the umpteenth controversy the actress has faced ever since announcing her second pregnancy. From her choice to have her ex-husband’s baby despite their divorce, to her activities while pregnant, have all been heavily scrutinized previously. You can read more about it here:
