On the November 20 episode of KBS2’s variety show Problem Child in House, actors Jung Moon Sung and Yoo Jun Sang appeared as guests to promote their musical Behind the Moon. During a candid conversation, Jung revealed he was still single, living with his mother and dog.
Kim Sook asked if that arrangement was inconvenient, to which Jung replied that he had once experienced true solitude when his mother visited relatives in Jeju and his dog was hospitalized—leaving him completely alone. “It felt eerie. The silence was unsettling,” he admitted.

Kim Jong Kook then offered a humorous life hack: “Just leave a robot vacuum running. It helps.” Fellow cast members, including Joo Woo Jae and Yang Se Chan, chimed in to express how enjoyable silence could be.
Kim Jong Kook added with a smile, “When you’re home alone, it’s peaceful. Just turn on a streaming service, and it’s perfect.” His nostalgic tone prompted Song Eun Yi to tease him: _“Should you really be saying that now?”_—hinting at his recent marriage.

Joo Woo Jae joked, “Looks like he’s already fantasizing about being alone again,” sending the studio into laughter. Kim Jong Kook quickly denied the implication, shaking his head and waving his hands, saying, “No, no! Not at all. I don’t miss it!”
Kim Jong Kook tied the knot with a non-celebrity woman in September during a private ceremony in Seoul. The wedding was attended only by family and close friends, kept under wraps from the media.
