She congratulated them.
Representatives of former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin have once again conveyed Min’s stance regarding NJZ (NewJeans). On November 17, attorney Noh Young Hee of the law firm (LLC) Noh Young Hee appeared on the YouTube channel Maebul Show and delivered Min Hee Jin’s stance.
Previously, on a livestream on attorney Noh’s own YouTube channel Noh Young Hee TV the day before, Min stated, “The essence of this issue is an attack directed at me, but do not drag the kids into it in the process. The girls must be protected and must not be used.”
On November 17, attorney Noh added on that Min had personally congratulated the girls after finding out that they would be returning to ADOR.
“(Min Hee Jin) said, ‘I knew all five were going back (to ADOR), and I congratulated them and told them to work hard,’ and that ‘I would not hold them back.’ HYBE said they needed to confirm the intention of the three members. But (Min) believed all five were returning, the appeal deadline had passed, and going back felt natural — and she expressed congratulations. That’s why she wondered, ‘Why did ADOR create this 3-to-2 split structure?’ That was her sentiment — that it was unfortunate.”
NJZ announced the termination of their contract with ADOR in November 2024, citing the company’s failure to fulfill its obligations. In December that same year, ADOR filed a lawsuit claiming that NJZ had unilaterally attempted to terminate their exclusive contract. The two sides continued legal disputes for nearly a year, and the court recently ruled in favor of ADOR. NJZ’ five members have officially confirmed their return to ADOR.
