Comedian couple Kim Jun Ho and Kim Ji Min have officially revealed their plans to conceive a child naturally, just four months after tying the knot. On November 13, a video was uploaded to their joint YouTube channel “Junho Jimin,” featuring Ji Min’s close friends Han Yoon Seo and Park So Young.
During the episode, Park So Young shared, “Once I started posting about trying to get pregnant, people who are also preparing came to support and share helpful information.” This prompted Kim Jun Ho to ask, “What’s the main focus when preparing for pregnancy? Just exercise?”
Park explained, “I initially aimed for natural pregnancy, but it hasn’t worked out easily. I share what I eat, how I exercise, and even test results.” Kim Ji Min added, “Jun Ho recently brought up the idea of preparing for pregnancy seriously.”
She then playfully recounted a funny mix-up: “Jun Ho asked, ‘Doesn’t a woman have a certain period when she can get pregnant? When’s the embezzlement period?’”—confusing “배임기” (embezzlement) with “배란기” (ovulation). Han Yoon Seo burst out laughing, saying, “He’s mixing up ovulation with legal terms!”
Park So Young then advised the couple to take prenatal supplements, reminding them, “You’re supposed to start taking supplements three months in advance.” Kim Jun Ho and Kim Ji Min stayed quiet, prompting laughter when Park teased, “This is advice that builds blood and bones!”
The couple has been publicly dating since 2022 and married in July this year. In a past appearance on TV Chosun’s Lovers of Joseon, Kim Jun Ho revealed their plans: “We agreed to enjoy our honeymoon phase until Ji Min’s birthday on November 30. After that, I promised to quit drinking and smoking for the sake of having a baby.” He added that Ji Min prefers a natural approach to conception and expressed hope that it would happen “if it’s meant to be.”
