Netizens were in shock.
On November 12, former Super Junior member Kangin made a post announcing his return to the stage.
In the post, he wrote, “The comeback you’ve all been waiting for.”
He will embark on his first solo fan meeting tour, 2026 KANGIN FANMEETING TOUR: STUNNING TOGETHER, next year.

According to the poster, he will meet fans in five countries, including the Philippines, Vietnam, Mexico, and more.
This marks his first solo concert in six years since leaving the group in 2019. Although he started as a member of the group, he left the group due to drunk driving.
He was also caught up in an assault incident in 2017, causing more controversy. While he was cleared of charges, he voluntarily left the group as negative public opinion about him grew.

However, in 2023, he launched his Bubble fan messaging platform after renewing his contract with SM Entertainment.
In March, he held a fan meeting in Mexico, where he met with international fans.
However, netizens were shocked that he was still in high demand overseas.

- “I guess he’s still a part of SM.”
- “So interesting.”
- “It’s only been six years?!?”
- “Who’s waiting for him, though?”
- “This is amazing in a different way.”
- “I guess he still has fans overseas.”
- “This is why literally anyone wants to become a celebrity.”
- “Wasn’t his time of reflection longer than his promotion days?”
- “SM really is amazing…”
- “But what are they going to do with a guy in his 40s?”
