While G-Dragon captivated fans with his electrifying performances during the 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch] IN HANOI, it was a 23-second backstage video that unexpectedly stole the show on Vietnamese social media.
The clip, shared by his own crew, shows G-Dragon dramatically pinching his nose, grimacing, and miming exaggerated gagging gestures. The caption reads: “A ‘fart’ fireworks attack,” poking fun at the loud pyrotechnic sounds from the stage.

But the real twist came when G-Dragon himself chimed in. Commenting under the video, the BIGBANG leader jokingly “exposed” his team: “They hit me with eight farts in a row.” His mock outrage sent fans into a frenzy, fueling even more memes and laughter across platforms.
The viral moment revealed a different side of the K-pop icon, far from the serious, fashion-forward image he’s known for. It also highlighted his close relationship with his crew — relaxed, full of banter, and entirely devoid of the usual artist-staff divide.

“He’s just so real — one minute he’s a superstar on stage, the next he’s play-fighting with his crew over fake farts,” one fan commented.
This behind-the-scenes levity stands in sharp contrast to the grandeur of G-Dragon’s two-night concert at Hanoi’s 8Wonder Ocean City, held on November 8–9 and presented by VPBank. The show marked his first-ever world tour stop in Vietnam, and it turned out to be a cultural phenomenon.

Organized by 8Wonder, the Hanoi leg of Übermensch attracted not only Vietnamese VIPs but also international fans, solidifying Vietnam’s growing reputation as a regional K-pop hotspot.
