ADOR, the HYBE subsidiary responsible for managing NewJeans, has reportedly submitted the tracklist for the girl group’s upcoming official album to the Seoul Central District Court, marking a significant step toward their next comeback. This move comes amid an ongoing legal dispute over NewJeans’ exclusive contract with the agency.
According to legal insiders, ADOR completed demo versions of the songs and submitted the tracklist to the court as early as July 2025. The submission includes at least five tracks, currently in MR form (music tracks without vocal recordings), representing the stage just prior to the members’ official recording sessions.

The background of this submission is closely tied to the ongoing legal proceedings. NewJeans had announced their contract termination with ADOR on November 28, 2024, and have yet to return to the agency. Consequently, the actual vocal recording process has not started. Nevertheless, the tracklist submission serves as crucial evidence that ADOR continues to fulfill its responsibilities as the group’s producer.
Following the court’s October 30 ruling that the exclusive contract between NewJeans and ADOR remains valid, ADOR issued a statement: “_We have completed all preparations for the new official album and are awaiting the release timing._”

During the same court session, ADOR explicitly confirmed that the submitted tracklist contained entirely new songs, further underscoring the agency’s ongoing commitment to the group despite the contractual conflict.
Fans eagerly await the next phase of NewJeans’ comeback, with this court submission signaling that ADOR is ready to move forward once the legal situation allows.
