2PM’s Taecyeon, who is known for giving up his U.S. permanent resident status to serve, completed his military service in May 2019.
He was also called “Captain Korea” by fans due to his strong physique while serving.
Despite being turned down for service, he underwent surgery for his herniated disk and returned for active duty.
He was even appointed a special class warrior for his exceptional performance.
