On October 30, Moon Ga-bi uploaded several photos with her now two-year-old son, without any captions. The images show the pair smiling brightly in matching outfits, exuding warmth and joy despite the absence of a father figure in the pictures.
Back in 2024, Moon shocked the public when she announced she had given birth, stating, “As a mother, I’ve chosen a more peaceful and ordinary life. I want to be a healthy, happy mom filled with love.”

It was later revealed that the child’s father was none other than Jung Woo-sung, 16 years her senior. While he confirmed his paternity, Jung clarified he would not marry Moon Ga-bi, though he vowed to take full responsibility as the child’s father. The statement ignited a media storm, especially after rumors surfaced that he had been involved in multiple relationships during that period.
Allegations also swirled that Moon Ga-bi had tried to pressure Jung into marriage solely for financial support, and that she gave birth without his consent after he rejected her proposal. Moon addressed the controversy directly:

“We met at a gathering in 2022 and gradually grew closer. Our relationship continued until the last day of 2023. After that, I have not seen the father of my child even once. I never demanded marriage or anything else from him because of my pregnancy.”
She added, “We both chose to welcome this child who came into our lives like a precious gift. It’s unfair to label this child as a mistake or to predict he’ll have an unhappy life just because his parents’ relationship changed.”

Jung Woo-sung later apologized onstage at the Blue Dragon Film Awards, saying, “I’m sorry for disappointing those who once supported me with love and anticipation. I’ll take full responsibility for everything, including the criticism. As a father, I will fulfill my duties to the end.”
Despite the rocky past, Moon Ga-bi seems to have embraced motherhood wholeheartedly. Her latest update, featuring her beaming alongside her son, shows a woman who has chosen love, strength, and healing over lingering controversy.
