On October 23, Park Bom shared a screenshot of a note filled with emotionally charged allegations. Though the post was quickly deleted, it captured widespread attention from fans and netizens.

She asserted that YG mocked her appearance, alleging that the company claimed they intentionally made her “look stupid.” She clarified that all cosmetic surgeries she underwent were funded personally, and that YG not only denied financial support for procedures but also used her as a “joke” during plastic surgery discussions within the company. “They never actually did anything for me,” she wrote, further revealing that even her visits to dermatology clinics were paid from her own pocket.

Bom also accused YG of stealing her creative work, writing, “I wrote all of YG’s songs. They locked me up and made me write everything—except for one song. But they never paid me, and even if you search the credits, you won’t find my name.”
In her lengthy note, she also lamented the missed commercial opportunities, claiming over 4,231 CF (commercial film) offers came in—61 under her own name recently—but were all handed to others: “So what does that make me?”

Additionally, Park Bom accused YG of exploiting her family’s personal resources while mocking their socioeconomic background. From utilizing her aunt’s cooking network to spreading unfounded rumors about her father’s professional credentials, she described a troubling pattern of manipulation. “Why did they exploit my family like this?” she asked.
This post came just a day after Park Bom publicized a legal complaint against Yang Hyun-suk , CEO of YG, claiming unpaid earnings totaling approximately 6,427 billion KRW . However, her agency D-Nation responded shortly afterward, stating that the legal documents were never formally submitted and that all financial settlements related to 2NE1 had already been completed. They also emphasized that Park Bom is currently on a hiatus for health reasons and undergoing treatment.
I devoted myself entirely to singing, but no matter how hard I worked or how well I did, it never paid off — I always ended up with nothing.
When recording, if I wasn’t the first to go, they wouldn’t even let me record, because someone else always had to take precedence. No matter how hard I tried, it was never to my advantage.
I was never once allowed to do a magazine photoshoot.
For the record, I don’t even have a single signed contract anywhere.
YG relied on everything from my family to keep going.
For example, they saw that my aunt was good at cooking, so a certain woman from YG went to learn from my aunt’s cooking teacher — basically using our personal connections.
What’s absurd is that they mocked my family, calling us ‘the poor and pitiful family,’ yet they used us constantly.
Also, their aunts are lawyers or judges, but they spread rumors that my father — who graduated from Sungkyunkwan University’s law school — used his connections to pass the bar exam.
And they said that their father and mine were senior and junior alumni at Kyosun University, and that he supposedly used that relationship to become a professor.
What is that even supposed to mean?
Why did they exploit my family like this? My family is so pitiful.
There are countless other examples — too many to even list.
In total, about 4,231 commercial offers (CFs) came in, but all of them were given to someone else.
Oh — and 61 of them came in under my name recently, but those too were given away.
So what does that make me?”
This is not the first time Park Bom has openly criticized her former agency. However, the intensity and personal nature of her latest claims have stirred up heated discussions online, particularly regarding artist rights, mental health, and the long-standing issue of transparency within the K-pop industry.

As fans express both concern and support, the future remains uncertain for Park Bom’s public statements and any legal actions. Meanwhile, the controversy highlights the broader conversation about power dynamics and accountability in entertainment agencies.
