This tvN series tells the story of a woman who gave up her newborn daughter for adoption. Her daughter returns to Korea as an adult to search for her mother.
3. Mission: The Birthday Invitation – October 8
In this tvN series, a newly single father struggles to raise his daughter alone after his divorce. He unexpectedly reunites with a subordinate he fired, who happens to be the seasoned single mother of his daughter’s friend. Things get awkward when his daughter asks him to get her an invite to the friend’s birthday party.
4. Would You Marry Me – October 10
If you like food, romance, and the fake dating trope, this one’s for you. This tvN romantic comedy is about the heir to South Korea’s oldest bakery and a small business owner, who enter a fake marriage to win a gorgeous newlywed home. What could go wrong?
5. Typhoon Family – October 11
This tvN series takes place during the late 1990s. It follows a young CEO as he fights to protect his father’s small company during Korea’s IMF crisis in 1997.
6. Marie and Her Three Daddies – October 13
In this KBS1 K-Drama, a woman who is trying to find out the truth about her father gets caught up in a paternity scandal involving three very different men.
7. The Dream Life of Mr. Kim – October 25
In this webtoon-based JTBC series, a successful manager loses his job and his family after working at the same company for 25 years. Now he’s on a journey to find out who he really is, and what it truly means to be successful.
8. Spirit Fingers – October 29
Spirit Fingers is a romance K-Drama based on a webtoon of the same name. It follows a high school girl who struggles to connect with others. Things begin to change when she joins a drawing club.
9. Moon River – October 31
This MBC fantasy romance K-Drama tells the story of a scarred crown prince who is entangled in palace politics and a clever bounty hunter with missing memories. When they magically swap bodies, they suddenly find themselves living each other’s lives.
