During the March 5 broadcast of Mnet’s rap survival program Show Me The Money 12, the 20 remaining rappers finalized their teams with four producer groups before beginning the highly anticipated song mission.
The first performance unveiled was “No Manners” by the team led by Lil Moshpit and Park Jinyoung. The stage began with DKAY’s powerful rap before Zene The Zilla and Tray B delivered a lively back-and-forth flow. Flowsik also caught attention with a rap style reminiscent of Eminem. JEFFREY WHITE, who previously received mixed reactions, impressed viewers this time with a stronger performance and energetic shouting that helped complete the stage.
Despite the strong performance, DKAY was ultimately eliminated. Park Jinyoung explained the decision by saying, “He’s very cool, but it felt like he had already shown everything he could show at this point.” Lil Moshpit also added that since the program only allows one winner, they had to choose the player who had the greatest advantage moving forward.
DKAY shared his thoughts after the elimination, saying he gained valuable experience during the show. Park Jinyoung also praised the rapper, noting that it was impressive for someone who had little recognition in the scene to reach this stage of the competition.
Another team performance followed with J-Tong and Hukky Shibaseki’s team presenting the track “Money Checks.” The stage featured a catchy hook and highlighted each member’s individuality. Fleeky Bang delivered sharp rap verses while NOWIMYOUNG provided a memorable hook. Royal 44 added a stylish singing-rap section, Double Down brought strong energy, and Young Shooter impressed with confident rap delivery.
However, Young Shooter was eliminated after the stage. Hukky explained that the rapper still seemed unprepared for the next stage of the competition. Young Shurr expressed gratitude for the experience, saying that meeting new people and gaining knowledge during the show made the journey meaningful.
Gray and Loco’s team also revealed their stage for the track “SSAK,” which carried the message of sweeping up money completely. The performance began with OXYNOVA’s calm rap before MASON HOME expanded the energy of the stage. MILLI stood out with a stable and satisfying flow, while Foggyatthebottom added rough charisma. The stage ended strongly with Kwon OSUN’s solid rap performance.
Despite the strong stage, Oxy Nova was selected as the team’s elimination candidate. Gray explained that while every member had a unique style, Oxy Nova had slightly less impact compared to the others. The rapper shared that he felt happy and comfortable during the show and was grateful for the new friendships he formed.
Finally, Zico and Crush’s team performed the track “TICK TOCK,” drawing attention from viewers. Strong contender HAON opened the stage with an intense presence, followed by Raf Sandou’s off-beat style performance. Nosun delivered tight rap verses, while Marv brought a fresh energy to the stage. The performance concluded with Jung Junhyuk’s energetic rap.
After the stage, Nosun was eliminated from the team. Reflecting on his journey, he said that the experience helped him grow significantly and that he had no regrets, adding with a smile, “If I did my best, that’s life.”
