THE BOYZ’s Eric just surprised fans by revealing a habit no one expected — and it left many feeling both soft and a little guilty.
During a recent fansign, Eric told an OP that he couldn’t sleep the night before and, for the first time ever, opened the second-hand marketplace app Karrot. Out of curiosity, he typed in “THE BOYZ.”
According to OP, Eric said he noticed someone had recently listed a signed TBZ album for sale. The discovery clearly affected him, and the conversation went deeper when the fan asked what he thought about people leaving the fandom and selling their merch for cheap.

Eric responded honestly. He said that when fans sell items, it really helps to add a note explaining the reason.
I went into Karrot and searched up THE BOYZ. There was a listing that went up just an hour ago for a signed album. This was my first time searching it up. I honestly thought maybe I should go and meet up with the seller.
But what hurts the most? According to OP, Eric admitted that it genuinely stings when a seller writes that they have left the fandom. Hearing that breaks his heart far more than seeing the items themselves being sold.
I do understand that they might have needed funds suddenly, or if it’s an album, maybe they had too many. But what they write in the description is important. It’s okay if they write something like, I like them so much, but I need some money. Or I have too many. Stuff like that. But not if they say they left the fandom.
It looks like idols are lurking in more spots than you think!
