On March 14, Nichkhun posted a message on his personal social media describing the incident that happened the night before while he was taking a walk near his home.
“Last night while I was out on a walk around my house, I was stalked and followed by someone who calls themselves a fan,” he wrote.
According to Nichkhun, the woman followed him for nearly 30 minutes, shouting aggressively and swearing at him in Chinese.
“This follower walked for almost 30 minutes almost right beside me aggressively yelling and cursing at me in Chinese. I couldn’t go back home because I didn’t want to lead the person there.”
Feeling unsafe, the singer went to a nearby police station and asked officers for help.
“I walked to a nearby police station and got a policeman to stop her from following me. I ended up being escorted home in a police car because I was afraid she would be waiting and start following me again.”
Nichkhun also warned the individual that he knows her identity and intends to take legal action.
“I know who you are and I will be pressing charges. You also physically assaulted me, so don’t think that I won’t do anything because I’m mad.”
He added that he even knows where the person studies in Korea.
“I know what you look like and I know where you go to school in Korea. Don’t ever come back here again and never come to any of my events ever again.”
Nichkhun stressed that he values his privacy and does not consider the person a real fan.
“Most of my fans know that I love my privacy and leave me to be just a human being in this world. I don’t consider you one of my fans.”
He ended the message with a firm warning:
“Don’t EVER come back or you will see what happens.”
