On February 8, People reported that Spanish model Cristina Pérez Galcenco passed away at the age of 21, only days after moving into her new home.
According to her family, Cristina had recently relocated to a private residence in Málaga, Spain, after enrolling at a local school. Less than a week after settling into her new place, she suddenly lost contact with her family. Concerned, her mother reached out to one of Cristina’s classmates and asked them to check on her. When the classmate arrived at Cristina’s home, they discovered that the young model had already passed away.

Authorities stated that there were no signs of forced entry, violence, or struggle at the scene. As a result, police initially suspect that Cristina may have died suddenly due to an underlying health issue. However, the exact cause of death remains under investigation. Her family has expressed disbelief that she passed away from natural causes, emphasizing that Cristina had no known medical conditions. They have agreed to an autopsy in order to determine the true cause of her death.
Cristina Pérez Galcenco was the daughter of former Spanish professional footballer Nacho Pérez and Tatiana Galcenco. She began her modeling career at just 14 years old and quickly rose to prominence. Over the years, she left a strong impression on runways at major fashion weeks in Madrid, Paris, Milan, London, and China. She was also selected as a campaign model for major fashion brands including Stradivarius, Versace, and Louis Vuitton.

Her passing at such a young age has deeply shocked the global fashion community as well as fans in her home country of Spain. According to her family, Cristina Pérez Galcenco’s funeral is scheduled to take place on February 7, as loved ones and colleagues mourn the loss of a promising talent whose life was cut tragically short.
